Woong-Yang Park

Key Note Speaker, Sungkyunkwan University

Dr. Woong-Yang Park is a Distinguished Chair Professor at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, and served as a director of Samsung Genome Institute, Samsung Medical Center. His research focuses on cancer genomics, single-cell analysis, spatial omics, and precision oncology. He has led large-scale national and international initiatives to integrate genomic, transcriptomic, spatial, and clinical data for understanding tumor evolution, tumor microenvironment biology, and therapeutic response. Dr. Park is also the Founder and CEO of Geninus Inc., where he is advancing clinically annotated spatial omics and AI-driven drug target discovery platforms. Through collaborations with global academic, clinical, and industry partners, he aims to translate multi-omics discoveries into precision medicine and next-generation cancer therapeutics.
